Grid connecting a wind turbine is not as simple as we might design. careful attention to study and planning must be reserved to achieve the best results. Your suggestion of “our place is always windy” is not enough mostly, due to all wind turbines are suitable for grid connection. The output of the turbines should be considered with regards to keeping it connected to the grid through the controller and inverter. Lots of potential wind energy could be lost by ignoring this design parameter as, position of the tower and the tower-height is also an important consideration.

Electricity Generation Calculation

We can calculate the generated electricity production by a wind turbine at different wind speeds as long as we know the diameter of the turbine rotors, and the overall efficiency of the turbine generator.
